Dolls and dolls clothes

My mother was very fond of dolls, and bought all of her antique dolls in markets in London in the 1970's. When she passed away, I inherited them and they are most precious to me.
Doll right Doll front Doll left
This beautiful little girl has an outfit that I crocheted in fine thread cotton.
Doll with knitted dress
This knitted christening gown in cotton that I made in the 80's turned out to be
too small around the arms to be actually fit a real baby.

Instead this baby doll in (almost) natural size got a new dress.
Doll Doll front Doll left
These dresses are all sewn, the left one is the original doll dress from the beginning of the 20th century and the one on the right was made my me since she came into the family with nothing to wear.
Bonnet Bonnet Bonnet Bonnet
This bonnet came with the doll's head and I have no idea who made it.
It is in crochet, made from very thin thread and needle and is a very detailed and beautiful work.

It has been on my to-do list for many years now to attach the head to a body and make a dress for her in the same style as the bonnet.

Maybe when I retire...
