Hi, and welcome!
My name is Anita and I am not only Annie's but also Elin's granny.
I have been working with needlework for as long as I can remember.
My mother was skilful in crochet and knitting and my father has done beautiful tatting work and was also the one teaching me how to tat.
I must have passed something on to my daughter, she is very creative and I am very proud of her. |

My first miniature bears and elephants I crocheted in the beginning of the 80's.
They were not jointed but fixed, and had embroidered eyes instead of beaded.
Being promoted to grandmother, I wanted to once again crochet miniature bears and friends.
I found Berta Hesen-Mintens website and was fascinated by her pattern.
The first bears I crocheted were from her pattern.
All of my collectable creations are hand made from the best quality wool and yarns, and most of them are no more than 3 inches high. When jointed, they are jointed five ways.
I like to dress my bears, and the dress patterns are my own, I make them up as I go along.
All my creations are one of a kind; please visit them by clicking on the Gallery button.
I became a member of Thread Artist Guild in January 2006, and it is thanks to the inspiration I get from members of the guild that I started to needle felt, my latest passion. |

Gardening
Gardening is also a great interest of mine.
Most of the spare time in the summer period is spent in the garden, cleaning the flower beds from weed, planting new seeds and flowers, planting potatoes, picking fruits or just walk around checking out what is happening.
I always find I don't have enough space to plant all the flowers I'd like to have, so the lawn is getting smaller and smaller...

Isn't this love? My hubby mowing the lawn, leaving the daisies knowing how much i appreciate them...

Primroses are one of my absolute favourites!
It is one of the first to bloom in the spring, and with hundreds and hundreds of flowers!
Every year I can split the plants in two, and next year I have twice as many.
I am partial to flowers that bloom early in spring. I feel they are so welcome; I have spent all winter waiting for them... |
